Third International Workshop on the

Algorithmic Foundations of Robotics
(WAFR 98)

March 4-6, 1998
Houston, TX

Scope

Algorithms play a fundamental role in many aspects of robotics. WAFR aims at bringing together a group of about sixty researchers to discuss recent trends and important future directions of research on the algorithmic foundations of robotics. The format of the workshop consists of about 10 talks by key researchers in the field and about 20 contributed presentations in a single track. Topics to be covered include but are not limited to:

Authors are invited to submit 4 copies of a full paper by December 1st, 1997 to:

Authors will be notified of acceptance or rejection by January 15 1998. Camera-ready copies of the accepted papers are required by Feb 15th, 1998. These will be printed and distributed to the workshop participants. A selected subset of the papers will be published as a book after the workshop.
